Yahoo! Personals gives Yahoo! users a way to find and interact with other
people who may share their interests and goals. Just like a real community,
different people may have different opinions and personalities in Yahoo!
Personals. To make the most of your Yahoo! Personals experience, please read
these Guidelines carefully and act accordingly.
In the interest of making Yahoo! Personals a fun way to connect with
other people, we ask that everyone follow a few key rules, including: |

You must be 18 years old or older to use Yahoo! Personals. Do not post
profiles that seek out or advertise users who are younger than 18. |

Do not post a profile on behalf of another person. You may only post a
profile for yourself. |

Do not post your (or anyone else's) full name, email address, street address
or phone number. Do not request this same information from other people in
your profile. |

Do not post URLs, websites, Yahoo! Profiles, Yahoo! IDs, or instant
messenger IDs/numbers. Do not alter the appearance of your profile by using
HTML tags. |

Do not post adult-oriented content (e.g., nudity, overtly sexual language or
images, etc.). |
| 6. |
Do not post obscene, offensive, illegal or otherwise objectionable material. |
| 7. |
Do not harass, threaten or use abusive or vulgar language. |
| 8. |
Do not post detailed descriptions of physical characteristics (e.g.,
measurements, sizes, etc.) or the types of sexual activities that interest
you. Such information is better conveyed in communications with individuals
who reply to you. |

Do not post a profile if you are not looking to connect with another person
for a personal relationship or if your profile does not provide a general
description of the type of person that interests you. If this is not your
goal, Yahoo! may offer another service better suited to your needs. |

Do not post a profile unless you are single, widowed, divorced or separated.
If you are currently involved in a relationship you cannot post a profile.
Do not post a profile that solicits married people. |

Do not post a profile that solicits multiple partners or additional partners
for existing couples. |
| 12. |
Do not post a profile if you're only looking for a pen pal. |
| 13. |
Do not post a profile that includes discussions of illegal activities. |
| 14. |
Do not write your profile title and description in a foreign language,
characters or symbols. Yahoo! Personals is only able to support English
language profiles at this time. |

Do not post a personal profile if you live in a country other than the
United States or Canada. |
| 16. |
Do not post more than one personal profile at a time. |
| 17. |
Do not post a profile or gather profile information using automated tools,
unless specifically authorized (e.g., robots, crawling software). |

Do not use this service for commercial purposes (i.e. spam, information
gathering, etc.). |
| 19. |
Do not post copyrighted content without permission from the owner. |
| 20. |
Do not post a photo if:
· you are not in it
· your face is not clear
· it contains an image of you as a child
· it contains more than two recognizable people
· it is something other than a non-animated GIF or JPG file
· it includes contact info
· it is not rightside-up
· it is a "collage" of images
· it is a duplicate of another photo
· it is larger than 5MB in size

Video greetings must include:
· a recording by the profile poster only
· a clear view of your head and shoulder area
· greeting must be spoken in English
Video greetings may not include:
· a recording by anyone other than yourself
· nudity
· personal contact information, including your Yahoo! ID or alias ID
· obscene or offensive language
· any language other than English
· solicitations for commercial business of any kind
