Looney Tunes with Muhammad Ali Framed Lithograph, Signed by Muhammad Ali
This framed limited-edition lithograph pays tribute to legendary boxing great Muhammad Ali, and every lithograph in this series has been individually hand-signed by 'The Greatest' himself and includes an 8 inchesx10 inches collage photo of the signing. On May 25, 1965, a 23-year-old Muhammad Ali defended his World Heavyweight Title against Sonny Liston. It was a rematch fight that changed the history of boxing forever and provided us with timeless images of a young fighter, who would later be recognized as 'the greatest of all time'. This classic picture gets an update, as the most famous boxer of all time is joined by the most famous cartoon characters ever including Speedy Gonzalez, Tweety, Sylvester, Daffy Duck, Road Runner and Bugs Bunny. The process used to create this piece is called PhotoAnimation, a technique that takes advantage of the latest in digital photography and animation. After the original negative was selected, it was scanned into a high-resolution computer file. Using numerous animation drawings hand-drawn by talented Warner Bros. animators and carton character color models, an animator then digitally recreated the Warner Bros. characters interacting in the scene, resulting in a true work of art. 'The Greatest' is printed on 100lb. acid-free paper by means of a five-color offset lithography process in a strictly-limited edition of 750 pieces. As a fine art, limited-edition, numbered lithograph, 'The Greatest' is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity and contains the official Warner Bros. seal. It measures 18.5 inchesx 24.5 inches, is double matted, and is presented in a high quality gun metal frame with plexi-glass, bringing the measurement of the framed piece to 24.5 inches x 30.5 inches.
